A 42 year man had his life come to an abrupt end when residents of Ngangarithi estate meted out their justice. The mob that was said to have been fed up with the mans' behavior reigned on him till his end, said the area OCPD, Mr. Kirunya Limbitu.

The man who is said to have been a suspected mugger met his end at about 7.30pm, after making an attempt at snatching a handbag from a passerby lady. In his possesion were, several Identification documents and ATM cards, presumed to have been from previous victims.

It is said that he had been previously caught and warned of his ways by a church faithful, who had let him walk. The OCPD urged the residents not to vent on the law-breakers but to forward them to the police.

Is mob justice an end in itself?
