“I love the UK’s Wembley Stadium and it is my dream this will become as magnificent in terms of impact and sporting activities.”  This statement having come from the area MP. was seen to be a welcome approach to the people of Mweiga in Nyeri county. The area MP. in this case was referring to the Mweiga stadium which is 17km from Nyeri town. It had been said that the stadium was to be completed in timespan of one month, and a look at it one year since it seem we misunderstood what type of "upgrade" was to take place there. The "Wembley" stadium is now teeming with a healthy plantation of datura. The weed is toxic both to human and animal population but it seems to have found its place in the heart of Mweiga town. This is remniscent of how MP's are known to make promises they never keep to their voters.
