The Problem: Women are marginalized thus not involved in the development of the region.
Policy Vision and Action: Empower women through education, trainings and representation in
policy making organs.
YOUTH
The Problem: Youths like women are marginalized and lack employment opportunities.
Policy vision and Action: Empower youths through education, training and enterprise
development and value addition initiatives.
AGRICULTURE
The problem: Exploitation of coffee, tea and milk sectors, lack of appropriate farming techniques.
Policy Vision and Action: Education, training and promotion of market access.
EDUCATION
The problem: Decline in the performance of primary and secondary schools in the region,
decrease in number of boys joining secondary schools
