Sangare Lakeside Tented Camp; Sangare Tented Camp is located approximately 166 km north of Nairobi, 27 km from Nyeri town and 50 km from Nanyuki on Sangare Ranch, a 6,500 acre property at an altitude of 2000 meter in the foothills of the Aberdares National Park. Sangare Tented Camp has spectacular views of Mount Kenya.

Sangare Tented Camp guests are accommodated in six en-suite permanent tented rooms overlooking a small lake encircled by tall yellow fever acacia trees where elephant and buffalo are regular visitors. A separate cottage contains a sitting room and kitchen with a verandah overlooking the lake shore. Leopard, hyena, Colobus and Sykes monkeys, and all the common plains game species, such as zebra, gazelle, giraffe, eland and buffalo are present in good number. While at Sangare, guests can choose to take part in game drives on Sangare Ranch, bird watching, nature walks, horse riding, trout fishing or go on excursions to the Aberdares National Park and Solio Game Reserve. Sangare Tented Camp activities include;

Sangare Day Game drives; Enjoy a superb game drive in the wild vast plains as you admire the different species of animals, including giraffes, elephants, leopards, zebras, buffalos, antelopes, zebroids amongst others.

Sangare Ranch Night Drives; The ultimate African experience is enjoying a night game drive watching the entire galaxy, identifying stars and spotting the nocturnal animals.

Aberdare National Park Game Drive A game drive in the Aberdare Park is an ideal way to spend an afternoon. A short drive away, the Aberdare Park offers lovely Afro Alpine Moorlands.
