As i sat in my room alone,
Reflecting and pondering the days endeavors,
A stranger knocked at my door,i wondered who it was,
I let them in and we both embraced each other,
The stranger could not leave me…
As we had a heart to heart talk,
We both came to like each other a lot,
A string of emotions was shared,
Long lived experiences formed our firer y conversation,
We all gasped for breath,as we both sunk into each others tales,
The stranger couldn’t leave me…
Seconds made minutes,
Minutes turned to hours,
Hours turned to moments,
The night became longer and longer,
We both became acquaintances,
From acquaintances to friends, from friends to mutual friends,
The stranger could not leave me,….
My mind was racing hurriedly,to an unknown destination,
Thoughts build up to emotions, all i wanted was to be with the stranger,
The moment turned out to be captivating, intriguing and heart gripping,
We both hurled words of affection, words of compassion,
Emphatically we trended, submissively we responded to each other,
The stranger could not leave me,,,,,
Soon we fell into each others hands,
With no regret we we unfolded our ‘ masks’,
The air in the room was tensed, that made us look red,
Eyes begun to melt, even the eyelids could not help themselves too,
We all took part to in the night celebrations,
We were both drunk to the end,and could not tell what happened later,
We were in a land of gods, all that was there was what we both could want,
The stranger didn’t leave me either,
Soon it was dawn,
Birds chirping and singing their melodious songs,
To usher the new day, the night was so sweet..
And as i came out of my bed, the stranger had left long ago…
