Nakuru County has attained a continental first after its organizing and hosting firm, Ashley’s Events, recently acquired the franchise for Miss Corporate World Kenya.
The franchise was awarded to Ashley’s Events whose directors are Julie Chege and Moses Chege-by the Miss Corporate Africa Beauty Pageant whose motto is …where beauty meets business.
Expressing delight after winning the coveted franchise, Julie Chege who is Ashley Events’ Executive Director said: “Our aimfor organizing this event is to provide a platform for young aspiring professionals the opportunity to grow as well rounded individuals, enhance self-confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and accomplish personal and professional goals”.
The Kenyan chapter of the beauty pageant will bring together 20 counties, delegates, hundreds of the brightest business and corporate professionals, community leaders and government officials for a night of fun, lavish dinners and other exciting events designed to represent the future of corporate beauty.
Said Julie: “Miss Corporate Kenya titleholder will become associated with many organizations as a goodwill ambassador. The main purpose is to further raise awareness and involve them in supporting scholarship programs that will support academically-excellent young ladies who haves shown strong leadership skills at a young age, who understand the global business environment and who want to continue to climb the corporate ladder in global business”.
The Miss Corporate World Kenya Beauty Pageant will serve as a preliminary pageant for the Miss Corporate Africa whose Grande Finale (Miss Corporate Africa) will be held early 2015 in South Africa.
The 2014 Miss Corporate World Kenya Pageant will be held on 22nd November 2014 in Nairobi.
Ashley’s Events are hence asking interested personalities and entertainment industry players to forward their bids to be awarded franchises in Kenya where Miss Corporate beauty contests will be held in a whooping 20 counties.
“The counties will conclude their competition on or before 30th October 2014 and each county will be required to produce a winner. The 22 winners from these counties will then compete for the National title on November 22, 2014”, said Julie.
The successful franchise holder for every county shall be decided by Ashley’s Events.
