It was that crazy, so first things first each and every one of you have to join me at Happy times lounge as I host Karaoke alongside the beautiful sassy Shee Rachael…each and every Weno,this is the day Nyeri city gets the taste of the looming weekend knocking on the door, Happy Times Lounge is the place everyone is trying to forget that Njaanuary blue and also coming to terms with a broke and black valentines lol …so last weno in attendance was obviously the who’s who in the town and in the county, my usual suspects are still facing hurricane NJAAnuary even plans for Oldoiyo Lenagai were replied with a short text”v’ce iza kusota nayo leo haiwesmek” for those uptown babies its V’ce sorry we are broke today cannot be able hehe so much for grammar right?
Anyway I was surprised my biggest fan Joyce Wanjiku had come to show some love to her boy if there is a lady I really and deeply admire is this lady Joyce Wanjiku she is the founder of the Purity Elderly Care Foundation, the foundation takes care of the elderly. Great initiative! yea she was in the house! My great buddy and also a mentor Hon Maina Mwangi the town Planner and County Executive for lands and planning was in the house talk about happy times being thee joint anyway Maina is the laid back type in Kiswahili ‘anaitwa mtu haitaki stori mob’, humble gentleman unless my big mouth shouted to call him or I pointed him you would not notice…wish we had more of such leaders!
Yea its true I pulled out a dumb stunt! I wore my primary school uniform when emceeing lol…how will you remember me as plain, boring emcee not me! Yea I have done it before but not the whole town has seen it so pris give me a break! Jeff my big bro too had come to show some love to his favorite emcee and small bro hehehe believe it or not Jeff is my only fan who thinks am of sound mind!hehehe I am but will check just to make sure all the screws are tightly fixed would not want one to fall off would you? Karaoke night performances were amazing confidence dancers killed it in case you didn’t know Confidence dancers are award winning dancers these kids can dance off your wildest fantasies watch this space word on the street has it they have Groove award deal!sisemi kitu!
Here come with the bomb now about the weekend…*drum roll*Sato Nyeri welcomed a guest with open arms, a very unlikely and very unusual…it was the Laikipia Governor Joshua Irungu…the man is very humble his name is not His Excellency but His Humility waah the man is so humble you would not imagine in your wildest fantasy that he is the governor of a big county such as Laikipia.For those who have had the honor to meet him like yours truly know that this Man here listens keenly, takes notes and advices. Anyway before you say am high on a tip or am on his payroll to campaign for him as area mp! He joined us at Bells Inn I know right?How? My crazy pal got his five minutes of fame and told him he is a quail farmer looking to expand and invest in Laikipia hahahaha will people in Nyeri leave this little bird alone it’s not the gateway to meet big people or having a date on valentines hehehe.Anyway HE Joshua Irungu said he would do anything for his county to become the best and by the look of how he was handling his business there he wil!True to the word! It seems Nyeri was good to him we told Laikipia last time with Yelsin was good to us too!
After that I jumped and changed to hopping mode all the way to happy times lounge where fun is taken seriously before you say am high on Ken’s tips or treat am not I just love the joint!To my surprise Huddah Monroe was in the building *drumroll*The Nyeri huddah EL Soni was here full force killing every breathing male species in her gorgeous looks I must admit Dj Leqs was giving us that vybe with the music I must admit he does know how to dance lucky man!I must say this in plain black and white one can be jealous of his twenty two paged CV I mean award winning deejay,Dancer,electrical engineer and ladies’ man oops!He is married! Sorry ladies!Sicnarf too was in the house the man is Simba Imara Brand guy even after Jeff made Johnnie walk on a wheel chair I mean he killed the meaning of Johnnie Walker red label, I thought I saw the fourth Label the KaJohnnie on a wheel chair! We partied till late what a weekend! Remember to join me this weno at karaoke come sing your heart out! Capital FM Mix Master Deejay Joe Mfalme will be in the house this sato hope to see you there!
