So about this cop who has got all the tongues wagging and my news feed full. And has made people sharpen their photoshop skills by even adding things that aren’t there.
Im gonna ask a few questions.
Now, she looks great, but how how do you think she feels??? She was doing her job. She probably woke up looked for strength to dress up, smile and walk out to try and control the unruly rally fans and drivers who are out there. Considering the state in which cops live and are remunerated. Thats a motivated employee. Then spooks get her raunchy looking photos probably from her facebook account or even photoshopped them and then put them for all if us to see. That’s invasion of privacy and a horde of other wrong things.
Then theres the photographer…..who is in the same profession I am. I look up to him. He inspires me and others. I call him up when I need to improve my handicap in shooting and he gives me free info. His photos have lined my wall. He creates emotions in his photos as much as theyre car photos.
He took a photo with good intent. A police force that has always been on the news for the wrong reasons finally gets some good publicity. And what do we do? Oh we can send her to Mandera or Merti till she gets it in her head that she wasn’t in the force to strut her butt??
Really???
That photographer had good intentions. He saw something we didn’t see. That is misrepresentation. We chose to see the glass half empty. He saw it half full. So now that the photo is viral why don’t we move on to some important issues like why in the blue blazes we are paying Anglo Thieving and scheming, why our security agencies were caught napping when Africa’s biggest drug haul was seized on Kenyan waters, 21kms off our shoreline, and why there is drama about a marriage bill.
Have we lost it already??? There is a security threat from the Al-Sure-Bomb you, we have 125Billion we want to pay Anglo Thieving and Scheming but we cant properly remunerate some peeps like the Judiciary……..and civil service. And we act like nothing’s wrong. We point fingers at cops with big tummies yet we line their pockets, grease their hands every time we drive home 4pints high, or we drive like were on the runway. When a cop with a nice body shows up on the newspaper we maul her looks down and lose sight of our goals.
That’s misplacing our priorities.
Far as am concerned, roads are still undone, cost of living is still way up in the attic, the garbage round the corner is stinking and has been for the last three weeks, I need to know someone who knows someone to get something done for a govt I pay taxes to…even a passport renewal or application just went up in smoke because the power surge zapped away the ‘mainframe’ at Immigration.
With all the photos and info…..someone should whisper about one free service called Google drive. Or Drop box. Or Microsoft Live.
Now that’s called Napping at The Wheel.
Let me hope my scope will hit the mark
