I have laid off more than 25 workers because I can no longer afford to pay them. Most hotels and bars have lost close to 80% of business because customers no longer frequent the places due to these rules.

i think its time to Uplift the ban

  2. Alice says:

I support these laws because now my husband comes home early and I am no longer worried about him being arrested or getting mugged in the middle of the night.

  3. jamoh says:

The ban should Be Uplifted in order for our town to Grow .they talk about 2030 while they are taking us back .

We Need A lively 24/7 Town

  4. Meshack says:

I think th ban shld b lifted. A drink is gud n necessary 4 us all. It raises th economy of a town

  5. patoh says:

Why are they doing this, now what will we be doing after stress za Job,infact some of us who doesn’t have leave prefer these night club kushusha stress za Job….so they need to consider us…..

  6. dayveed says:

Yes, this is the case and sure it has immensely affected all business within and to some extent outside the town. Towns like Nakuru have grown in leaps and bounds due to an economy that runs 24/7. Due and in accordance with this responsible parties should do something!

  7. daudi says:

Nyeri town is a small town that requires the works or the night clubs and the likes to grow into a big town,The imposed ban should be reconsidered by the authorities because it is an economic virus.

  8. Sally says:

This is tricky because as much as business community wants to continue with business past 2300 security maintaining insecurity has become rampant. It the people who frequent bars and restaurants are killed or mugged by thieves(who take advantage of darkness) who will they sell to the following day? They should liaise with the police for the way forward.

  9. keni says:

This ban is dragging development down.Kenya is slowly trying to be a 24h country but with bans such as this that will truly be a unattainable goal. Moreover with nyeri’s night life vibrant this will surely increase business employing more youth who due lack of employment turn to crime thus muggings at night

  10. estali says:

aaaaaah!these can be looked into from 2 perspectives. Those who like to party give business and thus would wish that the ban be lifted.we presume its the youth and not a single parent would want to see their kids waste themselves.

I think they should lift the ban,and the concerned parties be responsible in what they intend to do.security should also be held up-tight to curb those bending the law.

  11. gitonga says:

It should be security personnel to be increased and they should stop corruption for nyeri to dvp

  12. muruthi says:

they should reduce the distance between the lighting along gakere road-hapo whispers park n police plot where women sell their produce since although there is lighting now it’s not adequate

  13. tabby says:

Why should they do it.After all even crimes are done during the day to those who want to do it.

So the government should also be keen and protective during the day or late evenings. In fact some of the do these crimes are done during the late evenings before even the town security lights are on.

  14. CHI straightener says:

I support these laws because now my husband comes home early and I am no longer worried about

  15. Replica Loutoutin says:

I think th ban shld b lifted. A drink is gud n necessary 4 us all. It raises th economy of a town

    Nyeri needs a nightlife…priod.

  17. Nyugus says:
